Documentation of my adventures in amateur clothes making continued... The last pair of pants that finished over the summer is this grey plaid cotton pair:

Back pocket:

My buttonholes are slowly improving, but still mainly serve as a reminder about how much room for improvement there is...

This time I did an on-seam pocket with hand pick-stitching on the pocket and fly:


The process of pockets, waistband, closures, etc. still looks pretty amateurish, but is going a lot more smoothly:

Hand stitched blind hem as usual (I'll probably go with cuffs on the next pair):

Although the picture is of poor quality, it gives you a general idea of the fit:
