MTM outerwear in Toronto?

Hello all:

Does anyone know if MTM outwear is available in Toronto? I'm 5'4" and find that most outwear doesn't come small enough for my size. I found some overcoats that can work with altered sleeves, but I then feel the proportions are off (pocket location). Also overcoats available in my size often are "generic" in style. It would be nice to have access to a wider selection (peacoat, car coat, etc).

Thanks,

Mim

Canadian company Samuelson (Montreal) is available from several retailers in Toronto. My shop here in Minnesota offers MTM overcoats etc from them.

somewhere like H&M will probably have a 34/XS peacoat, or order from Sterlingwear check B&S there's one for sale there).

you can probably do MTM through various people at Harry's, or check out some of the more trendy stores for minimalist designer wear like say TNT Blu or their likes.

PS - check the SF retail map - http://maps.google.ca/maps/ms?msid=208087133674106707660.00045fdaa04d1b0612958&msa=0

Years back there used to be various shops around the St. George campus that made and sold school jackets. IIRC they made various styles including pea coats. Leaving off the UofT crest etc should be possible. Even if they don't make exactly what you want they might be able to point you to somebody who does. Wander around Spadina and walk into the shops.

OTOH you don't mention budget etc. How much are you willing to invest?

I'd be willing to pay up to $1500 for quality outerwear. CG, thanks for the Samuelson suggestion, I didn't know they did outerwear. M-C thanks for the SF retail maps suggestion. First time I've heard of it. We have lots of pins in Toronto!
