Cherry shoes with grey suits

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a dress shoe that I can wear with charcoal and medium grey suits. I had been thinking oxblood or burgundy but am having trouble finding good examples.

I have been looking at the Alfred Sargent Moore in cherry. Since I've never seen this up close, I'm a bit dubious. Do you folks think that cherry will work? What other colours work with grey other than black and brown, which I have plenty of?

TIA

With gray suits you are only limited by how conservative or not you wish to dress and the shade of gray.

Medium to dark brown work with pretty much every shade of gray, for example. Tan's work with lighter shades. Burgundies etc also work and cherry is fine if you feel you can wear something more bold.
Gaziano's cherry and vintage cherry finishes are distinctive with gray IMO.

I have a rather meaty pair of Campanile Balmorals in Cherry that I have worn with a grey suit. I see no problem with it but prefer to wear mine with combinations. I also have a pair of Cherry loafers by Dack's (a now defunct Canadian manufacturer - not pictured) . It is a beautiful shoe colour.

Mid-grey suits (in my opinion) are the most versatile whether it is shoes, shirts or ties. Personally, I would pair with black shoes; however, do not see an issue with cherry.
