I'm thinking of buying this SC. Opinions?

I need some opinions on the fit and quality of this jacket. It's made by Bobby Jones. It's 100% cotton, has patch pockets and is a 3 2 roll. How the quality of Bobby Jones? The label says tailored by Hickey Freeman but I don't know anything about Bobby Jones. It's not fully canvassed. I did the pinch test but is this kind of jacket usually fully canvassed? It's on sale for $269. What do you think of the fit? Is it a good deal? Sorry for the picture quality, I was in the dressing room. Thanks.

I can't say anything about the quality of the jacket, but it looks a little short - maybe it's just due to baggy jeans though.

It doesn't look too short, you seem to be slouching a bit though, straighten up, and go by the "rule of thumb" - that is if your thumb is near the bottom of the coat you have a good length.

Otherwise the fit is nice.

And just so you know Bobby Jones isn't anything amazing in quality, they are simply a golf apparel company.

I appreciate it. I do have a tendency to slouch. I thought the fit was good too but I'm still learning. If the quality isn't that good I'll let it go then. I liked the fit and saw Hickey Freeman so I thought it was a good deal. Thanks for the advice.

It's a line owned by Hart Marx which is the parent company of Hickey Freeman I'm almost positive. It won't be top quality Hickey but decent stuff. If you like it you aren't out a lot.

It is a nice casual jacket at a good price. Wear it with lighter colored casual trousers / chinos.

I'm not an expert or anything, but personally I'm not a huge fan of the button stance. Just my opinion.

I disagree with everyone else in this thread. I'm not a big fan of the fabric or the fit. I think it doesn't help your square shoulders. I can't tell because of the photos, but it looks like a sack jacket.

button stance is too high IMO.

also, those jeans really have to go... your 'ass' is so low I can't even tell if the jacket covers it IRL or not.
