Have you noticed that guys (and mostly) girls who have never worn a watch in their life, suddenly are rocking one daily? What's changed, you ask? The cheap gold watch, so gaudy that it's become ironically cool. I am not a fan of gold watches, for the most party, but I am seeing girls left and right rock them. I was out wine tasting during a company retreat recently and saw that a co-worker had one on. I asked her how long she owned that gold watch and sure enough she said she just got it. Then i asked if she owns or wears any other watches? Nope.
I've always advocated wearing watches but i don't know how i feel about this resurgence due to gold ones.
