Is this considered a suit? It has a matching top and bottom:

Pyjamas and square-toed slippers, oh my.

On a side note, an actual suit in that pattern would be badass.

It's no worse than some of the 'suits' I see around here.

Although the guy in the picture doesn't look Chinese. Here in China, pyjamas is something one wears around the house during the day, visiting the supermarket, running errands, picking the kids up from school, etc.

Oh yeah, let's all have a laugh at different cultures. Racist, much?

In Japan, these are known as jinbei, and people wear them in summer. They aren't pajamas or bed wear of any kind. They are very comfortable and perfect for their purpose. I have several pairs.

No: But it is within the realms of the appropriate dress of whichever country the man comes from.

In Mainland China, it's definitely pyjamas that they're wearing. Most of them never really got the grasp that pyjamas are a garment intended for sleeping in. A western thing like pyjamas is a relatively new concept here, only 30 years or so.

In fact during the Shanghai Expo last year, they started clamping down on the pyjama wearing culture:
