What are the different lines and what are the differences?

I'm looking at yoox and wondering where valentino roma fits in.

For a while, there was the following:

Valentino Jeans: not that great, although some interesting styles and I do have some pieces from it that I still like. Nicely cut but not terribly well made cords, for instance.

Valentino Uomo: Armani Collezioni/Zegna Soft equivalent, fused-front dross.

Valentino Studio: the sportswear sold alongside Valentino Uomo jackets and suits.

Valentino Boutique: similar in quality to Armani black-label

Valentino Roma: mostly club-type wear, similar to the places held by Emporio Armani or Miu Miu but often wilder than either one of those.

However, since he elongated and sharpened the "wings" of his logo, it seems to have all condensed into one label.

Peace,

JG
