Going to London in a few weeks and need to get my hair cut well to look professional. Any suggestions? Nothing ridiculously expensive though, quality of course.

Initial Impressions I ordered Taylor Stitch's 10 oz indigo Cone Mills Flatout shirt (http://taylorstitch.com/products/indigo-cone-flatout). The denim shirts come in three colors: Indigo in 10...

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

Well there's Trumpers if you're in the West End. Over in the City, I've been going to Flittner's recently.
In an old thread someone also mentioned PMB as well but I couldnt locate the website, anyone have infos?
Also, a bit off-topic, but if anyone has good tips for places to go for a drink to. I would really want to go to Shoreditch House, but its members-only. Is Vertigo 42 good? Any other chic places in Central London?

By PMB I assume you mean Pall Mall Barbers. I went there a couple of years ago and they were reasonable, but nothing special.
Last haircut I got was a standby appointment at the Headmasters in Mayfair. Actually turned out very well and is the best haircut I've had for a while. Other than that I might recommend Gentleman's Tonic in Selfridges.
As for bars, you could try Mark's Bar which is in the basement below Mark Hix's restaurant in Soho, Purl in Marylebone and the bar at the Connaught.

Great, thanks for the tips. Cant decide between Trumpers, Headmasters and PMB really. I'm still quite a young lad, turning 20 soon so maybe Trumpers could be too "old" for me? And the image I get for Headmasters is that its more aimed at women. I really dont know which one to go for, I guess I'll flip a coin.

A 19 year old guy has no place in Trumpers -- its old and not in a particularly interesting way. I have had cuts at all of the expected barber/shaving places and none have been better than at a cheap barber.
The best barber in London is a guy named Carlo Anichini located in Piccadilly Arcade. He is a great guy and seriously excellent cutter. Call him 020 74935692
