Hey guys,

So I'm going to HK for the first time to meet my fiancé family. Since I'm there I would like to get a suit material is flexible and I guess I'll choose it while I'm there but I'm mainly lookin for recommendations on who I should go to. Im looking to roughly spend roughly $500 (obviously material coming into play). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Considering your budget, I would try Peter Lee at Lee Baron and ask for a half-canvassed suit.

(Ah, and stay away from the "Nice tailor suit for you sir? Copy watch?" type of tourist traps. They might be within your budget but I can guarantee you won't be happy with the end results.)

+ 1 all around.

Did you actually do any research here before you posted this thread?

I'm afraid your approach typifies so many - do nothing to help yourslef, ask dumb question and then disappear. The latter I suppose is a blessing.

Come on - he said 'thank you' for the answers he got here...and at least he did not start a 'black suit'-thread.

Try the guys at The Armoury.

Ask for Ethan

They have well priced to the the really artisinal hand made suits.

1000's of fabrics and plenty of formal shoes by Lodger, Gaziano Girling and such as well as accessories.

Pretty much its a gentleman's utopia
