what's with Hotmail?

I cannot access my hotmail account at all. When I attempt to sign-in it redirects me to my service provider's search engine and says that the site cannot be found. is it blacked out just for me? is it a regional issue, or is this a problem everyone is having? kinda sucks, that you can't depend on hotmail to work when needed. Maybe it's time for gmail?

I sounds like hotmail is just down but a note that sometimes this sort of think is a redirecting spyware program.
