Jeans in colors?

I saw a vintage Wrangler ad in a book a few months back. If my memory serves, it was a bunch of kids in the '60s dancing while wearing jeans in blue, green, orange, and maroon. I haven't been able to get the image out of my head lately. I myself have a pair of Levi's STF in "tobacco" (more like mustard) and green; I love them both. Unfortunately, Levi's doesn't really seem to know which way to go with its STF offerings, though. My tobacco and green pairs seem to be about as good as it'll get for a while. They recently added a pair of "dark green" STF jeans to their line-up; they're olive green on the outside and black on the outside. The rivets and stitching are also black. I know the economy is bad, but are we living in World War Three now? In the dead of winter I might be inclined to wear such a bleak pair of jeans, but regularly? No, thanks.

So I was wondering: are there any companies offering colorful, raw denim that fits and will last a while? I'll push my luck: maybe they have 5-pocket cords as well? I really don't want to resort to vintage when a brand-new pair of STF jeans are apparently only worth $40-50 in the world of Levi's. One would hope that at a price like that variety existed *somewhere.*

My PBJs are purple. They are sexy and have turned the head of many a gay man.

You can look at RRL. I own a pair of RRL antique cream jeans and they are my favorite jeans right now. They also make an oxblood color that is very popular. Their used to be a green tinted pair, though I have not seen in any of the stores. These are miles better than STF as well

I've been really hoping to find some light oxblood levi 511s. Checked Macy's, Levi Store, even Levi website has nothing for color. Maybe I'll look out for RRL options too but I don't want to spend too much on color jeans, yet. If anyone knows where these can be scored please chime in.

APC has clolored denim and Tellason × Steven Alan does grey.

Oxblood sounds nice:satisfied:

Have a look on ebay, they have 511 in red, gray and a whole bunch of other colors.

Not sure what size you're looking for but there are some RL black label jeans in cobalt blue on eBay. Would definitely have kopped a pair if they had my size.

The Levi's outlet had a whole bunch of colors the last time I was there.  This was a year or more ago, though.

Colored pants are cool, but I'd say I prefer denim just because I feel like it's more comfortable and easy to match with let's say sneakers or even leather shoes. Then I can probably wear some sleek jacket on top then I'm good to go. Yeah, I personally think it's just the casual look that I'm after. I mean, I can't really wear yellow or neon pants in the office right. :)

 

But hey I still keep my blue and red pants for some funky look once in a while.
