In praise of Chalk Stripes - Page 5

I have a charcoal gray/black flannel chalk stripe form Paul Stuart, its probably my favorite suit.

I don't agree with the comments its too bold. I find it very wearable, although limited to fall/winter.

Great suit! Is it a two button, or three rolled to two? either way, like the lapel and shoulders. Maker?

It's mainline Cantarelli. It's a 3-button suit with a slight roll.

Snagged this three piece suit today. Not quite sure when I will wear it, but I love it laugh.gif

Will have to see the results in April when I'm in the USA again, but the guys at Beyond Bespoke were really nice-- they were willing to do whatever requested, and slimmed the trouser a bit to balance out the suit before I mentioned it. hoping for good things on the handstitched sleeve buttonholes, so we'll see. They will probably send the finished suit out in a week, wish I could see it before my next trip home!

a simple shop, but only a few blocks from Rockefeller so the location was good for me while shopping witht he girlfriend.
