Anybody see the black Raf hi-tops they had on Gilt today (they were hidden in some "get the look" sale, or something like that). Way too rich for my blood at around $460, but some genuinely great-looking sneakers.

I would love to buy a pair of rafstros if a black and white color variation were available. It is a great sneaker with a refined look...what might be the hindrance in wearing them? I admit some colorways can be a bit off from my taste. But, I am sure others can pull them off. Then, there are those coloways best suitable for space travel.

I wear my green Astros and red Vandals more than anything else these days

Yep, I wear my brown on brown in the rotation from October until Dec.

Velcro sneakers are ugly. But then again, most designer sneakers are ugly.

Vandals are probably the easiest to wear.

I used to wear both of mine as well (white extra long lace sneakers from SS11 and dark blue rafstros also from SS11) pretty often, but haven't been wearing anything but lowtops of late so they out of rotation for now. Excellent shoes though

Have you even had them that long? I thought you just got them at the beginning of the summer

I believe I purchased them late January or beginning of February, wore them for a bit but decided they are more of a winter shoe for me (by winter I mean 55-70 degrees). Will be wearing them around Oct again
