Tweezers?

I've never used them without crying, yet I can sit through most films stoney faced.
My wife?
The opposite.
E.T. broke her heart yet she can tear her eyebrows out with a smile.

Is this a male thing?

No, plucking your eyebrows is not a male thing.

plucking a nose hair has to be up there with childbirth for pain. Its like pulling an eyeball out through a nostril.

On the contrary, I find hair plucking perversely stimulating. I have to restrain myself for the fear of looking like a balk chihuahua. My gf thinks I'm nuts.

That I think is probably the nub of the matter.

In philly, my girlfriend's mom use to thread my eyebrows. I would need to drink before a session. I get my eyebrows waxed very conservatively. The pain is minimal but pop a tums afterward.

The best tweezers I've used are by Tweezerman.

Don't pluck nose hairs. The pain is your body's way of saying it needs them. Use an electric nose trimmer instead.

I think a brow wax is much less painful (no pain at all, really) and tweezing does make my eyes water.

I've stopped all of the above processes, though, since I have pretty huge pores on my brow and break out whenever I tweeze/wax.
