Anyone ever do "negatives" on the leg press?

Just curious if anyone does one-legged leg presses with the entire focus on the negative (lowering) motion with the idle leg assisting on the return (raising) motion? I know people do negatives for other exercises but very curious about this one. Tried it and the result was a "good" sore in my glutes but still not sure if that's indicative of any benefit.

Sounds pretty valid to me. You can do a negative workout for whatever want I suppose. Negatives are really good as a mass builder but single leg leg press can certainly be a mass focused excercise, so yeah, have at it.
