Yuketan vs Quoddy

To my untrained eye, these two are very similar. Is there any difference between the two? How about value? I'm looking at Mocs/Oxfords, not the boots. Which do you prefer and why?

IME yuketens shoes are a little more stylized and a little more diverse. quoddy's - even if they're a chukka or a lace-up - are pretty much all identical. as far as quality, they're similiar. yuketens are more expensive and come in more exotic materials.

Very, very similar overall. I think Yuketen may have slightly better construction with a few more details, however I find their fit to be weird (very wide in the heel area) and they just don't work for me. I have three pair of Quoddy's which fit very well, one pair has been abused for two years and is still in fine shape. Also I've received amazing customer service from Quoddy recently, with a very affordable resoling on one pair. For that and the better fit I'll stick with Quoddy.
