I just turned 48 and am thinking about growing my hair long. Just wondering what others' thoughts are regarding 40+ men with long hair styles.

If you don't have bald spots or thinning areas, then it'll look ok.

If you have the hair, grow it!

You have to be pretty decent looking and in decent shape to pull it off. Keep trimming it frequently as you grow it out so it looks OK during the odd looking "middle phase". Just don't grow it as long as Bob from "Twin Peaks" or The Dude.

Long hair is good. Just make sure that your jacket collar fits properly.

If you're balding, please don't.
