The Frank Leder thread - Page 6

Cool interview with Frank Leder:http://mono-kultur.com/issues/02. You can get the whole magazine for free if you just click on the last link on the bottom. Pretty interesting how he talks about incorporating random bits of his past into his clothing making them each unique. Its a shame there are so few stores carrying his clothing online.

New items from Frank Leder are now online!

"TRADITION" is a fairly new project started in 2012 comprised of grooming products, handcrafted in small batches, using traditional methods and established formulas. Leder uses only natural organic components, various plants and herbs namely, in crafting each of his cosmetic recipes. Many of which are handed down from Austrian artisans, but renewed with Leder’s modern take on their particular mixtures and essences. Each product is contained in a fitting transparent bottle with vintage Bakelite screwcaps and illustrated box packaging.

Fw13/14 images up on the FL site. Some good looking stuff.

Thanks for posting. Liking the red cardigan and wool coat.

No problem. Yeah, those both look really good. I kind of like the matching pants to that plaid vest in the second image as well.

Also, if any of you have reservations about ordering from OEN shop, the owner Mark is totally cool. Like, really cool. Don't let the fact he's on the other side of the pond discourage you. I bought the green shawl card from last FW and he was utterly patient in answering my sizing question. Completely patient. He was also quite amenable with respect to a little customs snafu along the way. Anyway, one of the best experiences I've had in recent memory, he'll go out of his way to sort you out.

Yeah +1 to Mark and OEN, although I don't think he was carrying FL in the spring so not sure if he's doing it again in the fall. Hope so. In fact, I've had great help from all the places I've bought FL from: Neighbor, S Willard, OEN and Ra. (That might be the only 4 stockists I know of now that I think about it.)

I don't look good in that brown/green/yellow palette so I kind of skip over those things, but I agree. The vest and pants look great together and especially with that coat. Strange choice on the blue shirt.

Let us know how it turns out Jet.

Yeah Caveat he does seem to do lot with those colors. I'm in the other camp where the earthtonish things are easier to work with. But like you said he'll throw in some blue here and there, red as well, usually looking primary ish. I wonder if it's by design or has something to do with how the fabrics are dyed.
