if this is you being "tackful" (im assuming you meant tactful) then my first impression was right, you are an asshole. By referring to somewhere as low class you in turn seem to be referring to yourself as high class. Id take more time to tell you exactly how much of an asshole you are, but im too lazy to take my time to do a point by point lecture on your personality from your posts. Its pretty apparent, so ill save myself the time...blah blah. People like you just make me fucking sick.

Your description is more or less accurate in describing thrift store locations in my area. Being mid-LI, the brand selection in general would suck. This is why I love eBay. Pictures and accurate descriptions...which if they are falsely written, result in a prompt paypal refund. Although I still use ebay for new with tags stuff, as used in general...bothers me.

I've had them in Shawnee Mission, the Upper East Side, various London shops, & in San Francisco.

While I don't buy used shoes -- although I do wear my some of my father's old shoes and I do donate my shoes when I no longer want them -- some of my favorite tailored pieces were picked up at used (vintage if you prefer) clothing stores. There is NOTHING wrong with used if it's a good piece in good condition. If it's good, it's good ... matters not if it was made for me at a cost of $5000 or I got it for $5 at Goodwill (an Oxford coat in a check that is perfect for Christmas Eve). My very favorite coat is a Kiton in a tweed of grass green with an electric blue windowpane ... picked up at Good Byes in S.F.

And that's coming from someone who has more Savile Row bespoke than he cares to admit. Although some time back a hint was dropped.
