You know the fit differences between many different models of many different manufacturers, even if you don't own them or never have tried them on.
I take issue with this one. For example, I'd heard quite alot about the fit of G&G shoes, however trying them on brought a whole new and different level to it that was qualitatively and quantitatively different. From that experience, while I've heard a lot about the fit of Vass shoes, I would not say that I have any idea as to what their actual fit is like.
I find this particularly funny as I've never run across anyone who doesn't know the difference. You know you're and SFer when...
1. You are wearing a suit and someone compliments you with some variation of, "I like your blazer" and you respond with something like, "it's a suit, not a blazer."
2. You are wearing a sportcoat and someone compliments you saying, "Nice suit!" and you respond by saying, "It's a sportcoat."
When you begin to understand Imelda Marcos, sympathize with, and possibly even envy her.
Never thought I'd get there.
Story on a popular meme back in the day - Imelda and her shoes
Lord, it must have been. What, 3000 pairs of shoes?
Square toed shoes? This is what you get for keeping the darn things. I mean, what they heck were you going to do with them ... surely not wear them?
