Dude, I'm not the one starting Cowboys threads proclaiming eternal hope on SF each season. That's the funny part. Not the fact that the Skins suck. Plenty of teams suck. But you guys relish in it and set yourselves up for such a disappointment at the start of each season.

No, you're just predicting a Super Bowl victory for the Cowboys, which nobody in this thread is predicting for the Redskins.

Yeah, looking at the schedule I'm hoping for 10-6 but 9-7 sounds about right.

I think 8-8 is realistic. The schedule is the 29th hardest (opponents went 121-135 last season), but ends with the following five opponents: Jets, Patriots, Giants, Vikings, Eagles.

This thread makes me happy to be a Pats fan. Love the loyalty to your team, many years of having horrible teams in New England makes me appreciate winning seasons now (and a few Superbowls) highs and lows of following a team. I should know (Red Sox and Patriots fan for 40 years).

I thought the all caps and intentional misspelling of words gave away that my predication was largely tongue-in-cheek. But I forget, we aren't in DT and poasters in this neck of the woods may not be as finely attuned to these context clues. happy.gif

2 days to go and still on the fence about game pass. thanks, skins! if i could be confident of even 9-7 much less 10-6 i could justify shelling out 200 euro, but ... well, you know.

what to do???

Easy. Buy a slingbox, install it at an American friend's house that lives near DC, pay him $5 a month for his troubles and his extra cable box, and enjoy all his american television channels for eternity.

Well, thoughts?

Both my Bears and Skins pulled it out today. Grossman pulls in a respectable 300 yard game and looked like he found his rhythm...eventually. Freddy Davis had a big game, Kerrigan with a pivotal play. Thought they looked pretty good and it'll be interesting to see how Grossman plays next week at home against the Cards coming off a solid opening win.

Conspiracy?? A Cowboys fan in my office says that game was fixed by the NFL. He says that both NY teams couldn't lose on 9/11.
