I used to drive my 2002 Honda Accord in High School. My parents ended up selling it, but I loved the way it drove.
You pressed the gas and it felt like you were pressing GO, or you turned the wheel and it felt like you were actually TURNING the wheel. You just felt super in touch with everything. It was only a 4 cylinder, so it wasn't "peppy" and the turning wasn't "tight" per se. It was just...responsive. And I loved to drive it. (Getting a little nostalgic just thinking about it
)
I've driven later versions of the accord and they were similar, but not the same. And it was totally different than driving, say, an Audi M4 or a BMW or something; those felt like you were activating some sort of esoteric mechanism that made the car go or turn, if that makes sense.
What is that quality that I was so in love with called?
