Banned from Ask Andy - Page 2

After I commented in FNB's Inane Post of the Day thread, I got a warning from the AAAC admins. When I complained about the AAAC police on FNB, my AAAC posting privileges were disabled.

AAAC's trad thrift exchange is very good for the occasional Ivy gem. Cruiser really destroyed the forum, and even though he was banned, I dunno if it will ever recover.

Also, be warned that anyone posting in this thread will likely get sanctioned or banned from AAAC, as one is not allowed to criticize AAAC on any other forum, per their rules.

I'm sure that's it. I posted a blurb about my Southwick sale on "Deals & Steals" as per their rules and regs. Most of my referals came from clients on there. I find it amusing, I've been doing this for over 30 years and plan to do it 30 more, I look at it as the board's loss, not mine.

Tony - It is AAAC's loss. I did enjoy reading your insights. I hope to use your online services for a suit at some point.

While I have attracted some new clients from chatboards, almost all have mentioned Styleforum rather than Ask Andy.
Thanks for letting me vent, now back to work!

The only person who can shake you down is Tony Soprano........tell Andy to suck a dick.

Er, guys, whatever issues we have with Andy, let's try to not slag the man here, yeah? I'm closing this and moving it to General. We have our own rules re. advertising, but there is an official threads where non-affiliate vendors can post without fear of being censured. It's a delicate balance between looking after our paying sponsors' interests and allowing free commerce of ideas. We like to think that we get it right most of the time.

FWIW, we (Styleforum admins and moderators) recuse ourselves from doing any reviews that may be in anyway construed as biased, and have strict rules on how an advertiser can solicit reviews which come with compensation in cash or in kind.

Cheers,

Fok.
