to answer a three year old question (

), i was at the Vacca store a couple of weeks ago and the sales manager there told me that their shoes are StefanoBi, the suits and sports jackets are Attolini (it was pretty obvious, they were Attolini labeled), and he wasn't sure about dress shirts, but he believed they were Finamore.

Not much for men,

odd sporst coat and suit (only EU50/US40 and up, all the 38 were sold by the time I got there), suit is 1599 I think, good for what you're getting, but not cheap. No dress shoes, some tie, but nothing great, quite some amount of dress shirt, mostly 15.75 neck and up, decent choice.

The rest is women, lots of women's stuff.

ties were 2 for 100, shirt 100 something, can't remember. Shoes are 100, but they're not dress shoes, they're like high end puma shoes. Sports coat are under 1K

I managed to pick up a few items.

Vacca has beautiful clothing, much coming from Attollini. The prices at this sale were fair to good (and excellent considering their original prices), but men's selection was poor.

OTOH, the wife had a true field day.

Good lord - is he going under? Those are great prices.

Just stopped by and prices have not moved and there is no plan to reduce them according to the sales guy. Very slim pickings, suits are awesome (mostly heavy flannels, large sizes 54-56R) but $1,750+tax [not $1,250] is more than what you'd pay from Ian for an Attolini all year round, only 3 different sport coats and - again - $1,450+tax ain't such a bargain, almost no shirts. The real disconnect in pricing is at the outerwear level - makes no sense to me that the gorgeous overcoats are $650 when the sport coats are $1,450... Nothing was my size but I almost grabbed a gorgeous db navy overcoat with medium brown horn buttons and cut right above the knee - but any way I looked at it, it was too big (56).

Most ties are really hideous but I found two decent ones (a bottle green linen one and a summer 6-fold light blue grenadine) - they weren't must-haves by any stretch. Good deal at $50 each (down from $295

)

Lots of stuff for women - tons of shirts, shoes, boots etc...

No problem - oh, and I think that they also had an orphan suit jacket that would make a fine sport coat (check pattern) but was sold for $950 because it was an orphaned. All the other sc were $300 more

Were any of these ties seven or nine fold?

They didn't look that great, so didn't bother to check if it was 6,7 or higher fold.
