Which color "dress" shoe should I get

Thread Starter 
So I need a new pair of "dress" shoes ( I use that term loosely). I don't plan on wearing these to work, interviews, etc. Just to team dinners, with jeans, to class, out to dinner, etc. My question is, which color do I get. There is brown, black, and the color that particularly intrigues me is grey. Like I said, ill wear them with jeans(dark wash) or black pants. Most of my shirts are also dark in color ( greys, black, navy, etc)

bah, if you have to buy one pair and that's it go for Dark Burgundy (case in point: Alden shell cordovan), it's more flexible than either black or brown.
