Hi all,

Title says it all! Any tips regarding what to do, see, eat, and where to sleep, go, etc. would be great! Does VRBO reach down there?

Who has been?

Thanks!

Drink: Happy Ending Cantina - Across the street from the Marina, ask any cab driver and they'll get you there. Cheapest drinks i've found there... 2 beers, and 2 double-shots of tequila for $5, $5 margaritas, etc... Owner is an american, all the bartenders are really cool people

Food: When I was there, i had fantastic tacos of all kinds (fish, carne asada, carnitas, etc...), decent lobster, argentinan steak, place that specializes in carnitas, fantastic breakfast (most places are where locals eat, i didn't eat at very many "tourist" places.) Just tell me what your looking to eat and I'll tell you the name and how to get there

Then perhaps you should give me some suggestions regarding what to do during that time :)

Also, booked a hotel total. Villa de Palmar I believe. Hotwire, 84$ a night.

I would have went for a shorter period, but flight prices were stable on these days (220$!)

There is alot to do in Cabo. Most people think 7 days is not enough. You can go snorkeling, take a sunset cruise, go deep sea fishing, ziplines across the canyons, and off roading to name a few. Check out www.caboplanner.com for activities. For food you can eat as inexpensively to very expensive depending on what you are looking for. Check out http://www.tripadvisor.com/Travel-g152515-s5/Cabo-San-Lucas:Mexico:Dining.Scene.html for a great reference for dining. Salvatores, Hacienda Cocina & Cantina, Desperados and Gardenias are a few recommendations. The most popular bars are Cabo Wabo, Baja Junkie, Rips, Giggling Marlin and Happy Endings.

VDP is one of the older hotels in Cabo but within walking distance to downtown. I think you have access to Villa del Arco which is their newer resort. VDP seems to have more kids than VDA.

Have a great time!!
