MACO on Yoox - Page 3

The difference is that with 3 roll 2, you really can't tell there's a top button even when it's not buttoned because it rolls completely over (except for maybe the hole). With 3 roll 2.5, it rolls over the top button, but you can often still see it. At least that's my interpretation. I usually just call them 3 roll 2 regardless.

Same/better/worse than regular caruso?

Am really not sure; I don't know how to evaluate (still learning).

So I don't know anymore. I ordered two Caruso sport coats. One of them has a BOC of 30.75-31, the other is 30. So I just don't know.

Looking at their price points, they seem interesting. Not interesting enough to sell because it's under MACO, but if I thought one were long enough, I'd definitely take the plunge on a few. But they all look really short.

Antirabbit knows his Caruso.

caruso has been trending distinctly short-ish of late, while continuing with their long-ish arms.

personally, i think they need to go back to the drawing-board - i find the proportions of their recent models wanting. jackets are too full-bodied, while sleeves are extremely slim (almost like a skinny-fat cut); pants are way too slim, with taper that doesn't work if you're a tall guy, and somewhat tight thighs. this applies particularly to their Lotus model. the Merak model is better-proportioned, with a more athletic and forgiving cut.

I just think Caruso makes way too many models - they need to simplify and keep it to no more than 6 models (under their own label, that is, and not counting all the private label and other brands they mfg for). We go dizzy with all the Caruso stuff that we carry, not because they're inconsistent, but because they make way too many different models. They need to go back to basics and keep it simple... too confusing for vendors, let alone end consumers!
