Do you know Heinz Chocolate Sponge Pudding? It is a wonderful dessert, but is not made in a serving for 1. When I prepare it, I can only eat 1/2, if saved for for the next day it becomes stiff. I feel rather sad sometimes looking at the leftover, as it makes me feel more alone, more so durning this holiday time. Do you have a similar problem, with this pudding, or another?

I am sorry to hear that, V. Perhaps you could store the leftovers in a Ziploc bag with some extra chocolate sauce, then heat it up in boiling water the next day?

I hope this idea brings you some satisfaction.

Thats a good idea Doc, this comes with Cadburys chocolate sauce, on top already. Have you ever had this pudding?

No, but I have made and enjoyed Jamie Oliver's delicious sticky chocolate sponge pudding. If the Heinz continues to make you sad, perhaps you could try it, and scale down the recipe for only one serving.

Also, be careful with the Ziploc bag, lest it touch the bottom of your pot and melt. That could ruin both the pot and the tasty pudding. Nothing worse than a potful of melted plastic and watery pudding.

Doc, you win today's top prize for your proper usage of the word "lest". It is the first time to be used on Styleforum. Well done!

Hey Doc,

was that hard to prepare?

Since you won a life supply of Heinz's, I hope you will share your pudding.
