SF in Houston Meetup--September 24

I'll be in town for the GSU football game.

Had some private discussions with esteemed locals on SF who all seem down for a meatup.

Let's do it.

Could either tailgate or go out afterward. I know nothing about the area. Want like, to dance to some Tex-Mex and have the appropriate cuisine.

In, depending on the particulars. Suggest Ninfa's on Navigation if you're wanting Tex-Mex, depending on game time and your travel arrangements it could be workable. HMMM.

I'm a huge University of Houston fan so I'll be at the same place. Tailgating at Robertson Stadium, you'll be quite close to Ninfa's on Navigation which is definitely a good place to go for a visitor.

One thing: I may be bringing a friend with me to the game, so we have to have an explanation for how we all "know" each other. "We met on an internet forum for men's clothing" is not an acceptable answer. However, most folks aren't keen on dropping a couple hundred for the flight to Houston so I may be flying solo.

Well, I kinda go for the non-profit org angle myself. In this case, I am the saintly-type who is devoting my spare time and resources to Young Men Such As Yourself in a bid to cure you of your alcoholism / drug use / homosexuality (pick one or more).

I laughed at this so much I think they heard me 4 offices down the hall. biggrin.gif

I would definitely like to be there, though have learnt better than to commit early and then stand you all up when some family or work mini-crisis crops up.

Haha this sounds like when I introduced my new girl, who I met online, to some friends. They tried to give me shit about how we met but I shut it down immediately. Who fucking cares where you know people from, it's 2011.

And really, would your buddy be that surprised that you met people at an online fashion forum?
