That's happened to mine, albeit to a lesser degree. I noticed it happening around areas that are stitched - like where the belt loop is stitched on...

It appears to happen because of stretching - you may be able to work the threads back into place - that's what I did.

..But talk to RG and W+H first...they cooperated when I've had defective goods...

Think that part of the culprit might be you guys jamming yourselves into clothes that are too tight.

I've seen the pictures on nomad and roden tray of this season's corduroy pants. They all seem to have that sort of look based on the pictures. Could it be it was designed to be like that?

Definitely not. They do not fit me even remotely tight. The effect is noticeable right down to the bottom/hem of the pant leg, an area where there is no stress from being worn.

The lack of uniformity of it suggests to me that it's not intentional. One pant leg has very little of it, while the other leg is covered pretty much top to bottom.

Has anyone ordered the cotton rider yet and have an idea of the fit?

The shawl collar cardigan at Frances May is pretty nice, but over-priced despite being "250 gsm" cotton blah blah blah . I'm warming up to a few other items but wouldn't dream of purchasing them yet until I know more about next fall's prices etc. The technical details that I'm noticing are nice on a few pieces that I wouldn't normally care about.

not sure if this was already discussed.. but are the pants this season no longer vanity sized?

Think pretty much all their pants have had their waist tightened. The measurements on acrimony show true to size if not tight in the chinos. seen a good amount of pants on b&s being 'too small' versus too big like normally... i'd say go tts.

I picked this up the other day and for whatever reason didn't have the highest expectations. However was pleasantly surprised upon unboxing. The material is slightly thicker than I was expecting - I like it. More predominately blue than I was expecting too, in a good way. I haven't seen them use these buttons before and they're cool as well. Overall quality is high. Buttons feel slightly wobbly and loose on the threads....but no shocker there. I may get them reinforced. I hardly ever button up cardigans, but this one looks good both ways. There is no ribbing anywhere on the sweater. Given the new fabric, reasonably nice buttons, and weight, I would think they would charge more for it to be quite honest -- but thats very much a conditioned and subjective opinion.

I normally size up from a small to medium in wings' cardigans, which I did here, and was glad I did. I like a little bit of a slouchier look versus 'shrunken' as true to size in their sweaters can sometimes be. This is a slim, true to tagged size fit.

I'd say it's regular in length in comparison to their more cropped stuff
