You mean $175 on sale mid-season

No kidding at that price. Might as well help out their stockists and start pricing their items at a level their customers are familiar with or else they're going to lose them. Unless their manufacturing has somehow changed - and it's not like it has - then this shit is getting way too expensive. They have more stockists now than ever, yet their prices are still going up and up? At this rate I could get most of the pieces I want at sale time - this past fall I could have bought some pieces that were available on sale for 30 - 50% off what I paid retail - never doing that again.

Don't really care for their spring stuff anyway - regretted everything I've bought from their past spring collections (shirts, hoodies, etc) - will wait for next fall - that jacket doesn't fit in at all with Wings + Horn's brand identity no matter how much ugly navajo blanket lining they put inside of it so it's not like I could fit it into my wardrobe anyway but it's a nice piece.

That DR jacket is really the only thing aside from the basic chinos that I could see myself buying. Actually a pretty cool take, reminds me of Japanese brands like Rehacer, efilevol, Mountain Research, etc

lol $700 is ridiculous. Isn't that thing like a cloth type of jacket? Or at least it's very thin for sure.

rather get a TOJ
It's in a cloth called "Devil's twill".

Same thing they used last S/S for the utility jacket?

Sounds like its the same jacket as last season's devil twill utility jacket cut into a DR.

I have this piece from S/S11 season and I must say that's a giant markup.

*edit*
So after looking at the pics carefully, looks like the increase in price is due to the lining and the extra hardware (looks like RiRi zips and some nice button snaps). FWIW the jacket from last season was MIJ

Fok,

Did you pre-order any pieces from SS12? Sneaks?

Didn't you know that adding devil in front of twill increases price by 7 times and adding tiger in front of fleece increases product value by 5 times. Don't question me because I got this straight from the wings+ horns market research facility smile.gif

Don't worry thing is gonna go into deep discount depending on fit I'd cop at 50%
post #43 of 705
something lightweight like that would be nice for hong kong weather too
post #44 of 705
Lol. The "devil twill" jacket above - the utilty jacket? - was horrible and available all across the internet at sales season for sub-50% off prices. Plus, arguing about the hardware inflating costs when that thing had like 3 zips and 15 snaps isn't quite accurate either. Just bring on Fall...baldy[1].gif

I ordered both the white hightops with light grey suede captoe and the light grey suede lowtops with the white leather cap. I also ordered some large loop sweats in the royal blue color with zipped pockets, and, iirc, a couple of pairs of sweatpants, strictly for lounging.
