My buddy had me in line this morning w/ him at Bestbuy. Apparently they're limit one per customer and he wanted two. They received a shipment of 50 last night and put them on the shelves and sold out last night. We were SOL.

I think he's still scouring the area.

When I called the BB in my area I got a voice recording stating "We do NOT carry the HP Touchpad, for any questions on the HP Touchpad, please go to our website", then it hung up on me.

Ha! They must be getting inundated with calls.

They don't carry the HP Touchpad, but they were trying to sell the shit out of the accessories!

I lucked out and got one through HP. It's not a bad device after upgrading the OS and applying some settings changes.

I find the lack of Nflix app disturbing, but, I still want one, even if it is crippled and serves as nothing more than a 99 dollar pdf reader, it would be worth it to me.

My Nook can't handle pdf worth a shit.
