WHATEVER HAPPENED TO: Alfred Sargent Handgrades ? - Page 2

I am in the process of getting some Alfred Sargent handgrade shoes made and cannot wait for the try-ons. I am impressed with the great flexibility offered in terms of leather and pattern.

That being said, it sounds like he's talking about the people who go in and clean them out of their stock, something I also find annoying.

That's why I think all factory stores should open a web shop or eBay store themselves (like Trickers and Loake)

Obviously, he talks negatively about the brands he hasn't got stock of (hoping it would help his sales).

Bengal you know the economy is difficult these days. If it wasn't for the two shoe pairs I sold here (or anywhere else) at huge profit margins I would not have been able to feed my children for the last 6 months.

However, money is running out and the new school year is starting. Can you please buy the C&Gs I am trying to sell so that I can buy school books for Little John and young Mary . Oh wait I haven't been saying great things about C&G have ? Damn!

Let me say here and now that I recant. C&G are way better than Church's, no comparison.

C&G is a term of endearment I use for Cricket and Jones. After all they are missing the crucial G in SF approved UK brands: EG and G&G

As such I sometimes describe C&J as C&G. More upmarket as I am sure you can understand

Many thanks to the OP for the opportunity to highlight my schedule [=http://alfred-sargent.blogspot.com/2011/08/as-handgrade-trunkshows-usa-september.html][/]
I'd also like to extend an open invite to visit us at the factory, have a look at the Handgrade in production and meet the team. Please feel free to email me mto@alfred-sargent.co.uk if either the trunk shows or a factory tour are of interest.

Best,

Chay.

Chay

I am excited about my impending visit to the factory. Please let me know of any visa requirements in advance

Plus can someone vouch for my safety biggrin.gif. In medieval times it was customary to have an 'hostage' in these situations. I would ask that Clintonf make himself available to come to the UK and stay at a place of my choosing while I am away visiting the factory

Regards

CB

That's actually quite funny in a bizarre anarchistic sort of way.....

I'm glad I didn't have to come here to defend myself, I've seen some of the count's posts and I doubt I have ever taken position on shoe brands the way he has, with the exception of AE firsts.

That said, Chay has been an absolute gentleman each and every time we've met/spoken and AS trunk shows are the only shows featuring shoes I have bothered to attend. I would suggest any of you who have the time/resources to check one out.

Handgrade are nice shoes but I prefer the Premier Range.
