What is your favorite aftershave?

First this thread is about aftershave, not cologne.

What is your favorite aftershave and why?

My daily favorite is D.R. Harris Arlington. I first discovered in in the mid 90's in London at the Conran shop. It has a light, fresh lime zest scent that is very enjoyable. (It also has a matching roll-on deodorant for a consistent scent). It comes in the heavy glass bottle shown below and a plastic travel bottle.

Aftershave Balm. Most products I get from Art of Shaving who have also put out a pretty good book on what to look for in shave products. I've also tried and liked eshave and Jack Black's.

Why? Particularly because I like their unscented stuff and it feels awesome against the skin. Also, from what I have compared them too, they have less abrasive contents then most designer type aftershaves.

Thank you, pocketsquareguy!  You have no idea how long I've been trying to remember the name of that aftershave.  Have to find some now, but usually I just stick with my L'eau Issey Pour Homme balm.

Interestingly my favorite is also D.R. Harris.

How long does it take you to go through a 100 ml bottle of the DR Harris aftershave? What if you're going to wear a colonge, does this conflict? Do you use any of the other Harris products? Thanks.

I've avoided using aftershave because it usually makes me feel oily. Am I using the wrong product? Are some more oily than others? For the record I was using Armani after shave lotion (this was several years ago)

Any particular one? 'House' brands here include their Iris Noble soap and Colonia shampoo.

Don't see the point of buying "artisinal" aftershave. This does just fine:

I used simple ol' l'oreal for men for a while, just upgraded to gentleman's refinery ($50!) only because I heard it was the best out there (eh, it's alright).

nowadays I just go with a cold wash, pat dry and maybe a spritze of witchazel and I'm done.
