Got the popcorn right now. :lurk:

And by the way, here's the explanation for why this movie is what it is: ROGER CORMAN

Any fan of MST3K or RiffTrax knows (and fears) a Roger Corman Production.

Come on, you can't knock the creative genius responsible for "The Saga of the Viking Women and Their Voyage to the Waters of the Great Sea Serpent "!

The best anecdote I can give on this is my father.

My father doesnt go to movies. Romancing the Stone is his favorite film. He doesnt know what Star Wars is.

Once I took him to one of these perfect-dude-never-makes-a-mistake-*****-the-girl-******-hero-movies and he made it about 1/3 of the way thru and fell asleep.

Woke up about 2/3 thru around the time the violence builds and the stupid-over-the-top-perfect-guy-fights-to-the-death scenes start.

At one point the 'hero' does some stupid over the top move and my father turns around from the row in front (crowded theater, no seats left, had to sit separately) and says "what bullshit" to me. He doesnt hear too well, he said it LOUD.

For about 20 mins I kept cracking up thru single snort laughs. I could tell the affect it had to the people around me that heard it. Some would say it ruined their experience by bringing them back to reality. Eh, **** em.

That event hit me, last stupid-hero movie I ever went to.

The only movie worth a **** in this genre is The Incredibles and that was a cartoon. He loved The Incredibles.

Iron Man was a fun popcorn movie, except for the end battle which was dumb. Batman Begins wasn't bad.

The Dark Knight was actually just a good movie.

The rest? I think most of them weren't even worth watching on TV for free - those two hours could have been better spent staring at a wall.
