Yesterday, I saw a curious little movie entitled "Bellflower." Since I live not far from Bellflower, it piqued my curiosity. It has been critically acclaimed and, I think, won some kind of award at the Sundance Festival. There was lots of sex, violence, nudity and gore. It was an interesting and provocative movie. However, I had the sense that most of the violence occurred only the fantasies of the protagonist. A number of reviewers didn't seem to get that. Has anybody else seen the movie, and what did you think? I'd almost like to see it again just to see if I could make more sense of it.
The lead actress in the film, one Jessie Wiseman, I found extremely sexy although she is somewhat fleshy by contemporary standards of female beauty.
