Can I get some advice on odd sizing? 14.5 - 34 shirts

Hey, first post!

I'd like to say that styleforum has been really helpful for my transition from hoodies-every-day-of-the-week-college-student to respectably-dressed-adult.  However, I've been having a lot of difficulty finding brands that carry ocbds and dress shirts in my size: 14.5'' collar, 34'' sleeves.  Also, I'm 6'0'' and weigh 150 lbs with a 36-38(R or L) suit size, 30'' waist.  So you can imagine I have a hard time finding slim enough chest/waists on button downs.

The only brand I've actually found that carries a 14.5/34 dress shirt is BB and honestly their extra slim isn't slim enough.  Specifically the chest is slightly large, and the waist is a couple inches large.

Any advice on brands (retail or online) that might carry my size?  I live in boston if there's any local stores you'd have me check out.

Thanks in advance!

I found TM Lewin shrinks a little in the collar. Maybe a 15/34 from them? Of course I suppose the sleeves might shrink as well :/ They're quite slim though. The cheaper English shops have settled on 14.5/33 as their only option.

Polo Ralph Lauren usually has 14.5, dunno if in 33/34, but you have to ask them. custom fit regent in 14.5 33/34 is what I would ask for.

otherwise try out Rugby's new Made-To-Order shirts.. and give us a review.

Nope- 14.5 32/33 - most sub-15's will be an inch short.

If the BB's are close - get them altered? Not expension to take in or have darted.

Otherwise- there are ample custom options from $ to $$$$

sounds like the best option is to work out the neck... lol

Those RL rugby shirts are guaranteed to be too big in the chest/waist, but thanks for the suggestion.

Why would they be too big? None of mine are too big in chest/waist, not one bit.

Im pretty much the same size (an inch taller and a couple pounds lighter). I have found sleeve length to be a big problem. RLBL 14.5 is OK (a bit short). Phineas Cole (w/ cut away collar, seems to be a bit slimmer in fit) is the best fit I have found at 14.5/34.

I'm selling a Mastai Ferretti shirt in 14.5/34...............holla if you want it!

You really just need a shirt with really, really, really high armholes.

Also, eat a sandwich every once in a while. If you are swimming around in BB extra slim, you may want to see a doctor.

Strange, I weigh about 160 at 6'2" and my neck is an inch larger, and my waist 3 inches. You must weigh less than 150. Just use moderntailor and be done with it.

Yes. With sizing like this it makes no sense to stick to off the rack. Just get MTM and be done with it.
