Which style is considered more trendy/modern right now ?

I do not own any black strapped watches ATM. I only own a stainless steel strap emporio armani watch with a black dial.

So do you guys think I should go for the black strap fossil watch or the brown 1 ?

Definitely no. find a brand that actually makes watches and get back to us. Seiko casio citizen etc.

Fossil is probably the most widespread maker of watches...

Why buy a designer watch (not even) when you can get a reliable good watch from a well regarded brand In the watch making world?

And note most of those fashion branded companies have REAL watch companies manufacture for them.

Seriously..............Seiko makes some LEGIT watches for under $200. I don't know why everybody looks at Fossil, Armani, trendy looking bullshit with a quartz movement when you can get a Seiko with an automatic movement (that's a workhorse, not some POS) for cheaper. To each his own though.

and if you can't find a Seiko that fits your needs, Citizen (another VERY legit watchmaker for the price) should definitely have a model that you will like for close to the same price.

Look up the seiko monster diver watch.
In orange and black.

Very well regarded.

Check out Orient Watches. Similar to Seiko, affordable and reasonably quality Japanese automatics. Great bang for the buck.

A Seiko 5 SNK80X series is a pretty awesome bang for the buck. I put a faux Carbon fibre strap on mine, and it looks pretty boss. But keep in mind it's face is pretty small so it's not for everyone.
