Check Oliver Spencer's website, they have a jacket very very similar to that pea coat from Rakuten.

gg's right, it might very well be oliver spencer...it has a clean look yet some edginess to it. I swear I've seen something like that as well.

HOLY MOLY! THANK YOU! What a coincidence that the answer to both our questions is oliver spencer... haha

Who wants to get me that coat from their NY store? I hope it goes on sale when I go to new york in the summer. ^_^

Ask LA guy, seems like he has some kind of connect over there. Also, here is a site with the long version of the coat. http://www.lifejc.com/

Costume National routinely makes these types of coats, the ones in the second picture.

it was the only birthday present i got this year, but it was a good one!

Awsome! I think there are 4 similar sweaters in the line and 2 of them are black overdye and 2 are black yarn. I was too cheap to buy it, but I may buy the more basic shawl collar with the shoulder oil cloth patches... or pray they don't sell out and try to hit the sale.

That's the best sweater I've seen all season.

I've seen those coats on yoox... seems so super-futuristic... I like to be a bit more understated.

Look how nasty this one looks when opened... bleh and chubby-baloony.

A lot of those items aren't as "boxilinear" as they appear; they shouldn't use such muscular/broad models imo as they don't flatter the clothing at all.

The second jacket is awesome digi! Only thing that bugs me about that jacket is how it doesn't have the arm cuff straps.

I think the problem with that one is that the collar should always be worn up. Although it doesn't seem to fit very well on the model.

Anyone have any more cool winter coat suggestions? Los Angeles is gettin' frickin' cold for some reason!

HTC on beverly had a rick owns waxed jacket that fit dope, prolly don't have it. HTC sm had a real nice wool surface2air flight jacket, fit was on point but they're probably out of that. Go see Karl and talk to him.
