You might be right. I had my ludlow suit altered for free, but I just had the pants and sleeves shortened a bit

Don't buy from J. Crew. Endless / Amazon will probably be having a bunch of Allen Edmonds on sale soon, will be much better than these.

when you're instore and see a pair of the j crew wingtips next to a pair of aldens, the crew version dulls in comparison.

from last week, j crew wallace and barnes shirt:

i hope there's something big right around xmas. seemed to me that jc has more sales this year compare to last year this time around.

They are definitely not short.
