on the contrary, j. crew intended to take advantage of these people by ushering in as many as possible, and then capitalizing on sales of individuals who wouldn't buy [1] at 25% off with a $150 minimum BUT [2] at 25% off with NO minimum.
therefore, j. crew's prior marketing was duplicitous in tone and was conveyed to customers in bad faith, ie, basically to "fuck them over"
