You guys think the will let me exchange some items that are over the 30 day return period? It's been 40 days and the items are like new with all their tags. I would like to exchange them for other things, I guess I will go and try, it can't hurt.

I mean... $130 for a made in china cotton hoodie? Really? Who is gonna buy that?

Those Chinese manufacturers are excellent(headquarters in Hong Kong, factories in mainland China). I've heard that J.crew is going to move the outsourcing to Vietnam.

Hong Kong or Vietnam?decisions.gif

I received my CdG sweater yesterday. It came with the Japanese tag affixed that is marked at 17,xxx Yen. When converted to USD, it came out to be about $100 less than what J. Crew charges on the website.

Typically, the return period is 60 days.

I can't believe people buy those things. I saw them in the flesh and they're garbage, and for the price being asked, it's an absurd purchase.

never handled it myself but that's what i've always assumed: a conspicuously branded sweater made from materials you'd find in uniqlo or h&m knits

id rather own a uniqlo knit than the CDG play.

It was an impulse buy. I bought it on New Year's Eve before I left for the night. To be honest, I bought it because I like the heart logo. A few years ago, I didn't have a professional job and was still in college so I was unable to afford one then when I first saw them.

Returned my items that were past the 30 day return period, they didn't even look at the date on the receipt. While i was there I looked around and boy there was nothing in the store, mainl polo shirts and shorts, I was disappointed cause I wanted to get some other things but the had nothing and the sale section had nothing in it.

Outlet or full price? The outlets are in the transition from fall/winter to spring summer so there's nothing left in the winter stuff and there's nothing yet in the summer stuff. It sucks. The spring / summer will start rolling out in a week or two.

i think the cdg play heart is a clever design move, and i like the knits on the merit of the logo, but the prices are outside of my stratosphere for a simple knit w/ a markup solely on the basis of the logo's inclusion.

at the same time, the price of cdg play items is what makes the heart logo exclusive and raises interest to passersby on the street, so i don't think it wise for cdg to lower prices on the play pieces, lest the heart become merely another ralph lauren polo player or something like that

Kopped a Field Mechanics jacket for $130 and a red tartan shirt for $30 on the 40% off sale.
