Thoughts on casual shoes for a week in Cape Cod........

I'm getting married at the end of September and the bride and I are headed up to Cape Cod for a week as a "pre-honeymoon" to our trip to Spain next year. I was wondering what might be a nice shoe to pick up for the trip that would stand out a bit from all of the Sperry Topsiders that are walking around up there. We'll obviously be doing quite a bit of walking around during the  day and I'll mostly be wearing jeans and some khakis.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm new to the board and looking to learn.

Thanks in advance!

If you want to stand apart and not "out" how about these

Smart casual and fairly inexpensive ???

The first question to answer is what your budget is. Depending on what you can afford, Epaulet has a great collection of hand-sewns.

What part of the Cape, btw?

Wow, thank you for the replies........the problem is I like ALL of them. There are some really nice and interesting options listed that as one of you put it "stand apart, but not out".

As far as my budget goes, I would like to keep it under $200.00, but for the right shoes that could become a "favorite", then I would go more.

Great suggestions, thanks again.

KGMessier,

I think we will move around a bit and probably start at Chatham and finish in P-Town. Other suggestions on the area?

Just being on the Cape will be nice, but you have the right idea being farther out. The crowd is younger, artier and livelier.
