This is more of a hypothetical question (unless an admin wants to chime in), but how does everyone feel the site traffic compares to before the switch over to the new Huddler platform? I know personally I feel like the B&S area is way down on traffic (maybe my imagination and lack of PM's and responses in regards to items I have for sale), and I also don't really go though the forum anymore, scroll the first page and maybe check out a thread or two but that's about it.

Fok has mentioned many times that if you are looking at Alexa, the system is kind of fucked up. Also, each page view in vB counted for 3 views, while here it is one.
As far as B&S, I have never had a better sell thru on my threads than I have had here on the new system - and most of it without price drops. So I love it. :big star:

Not look at Alexa or any "graphs" (did see what Fok said about them) just from how I use the site and my experience and was wondering what other people's thoughts were. You and your big stars, I'm surprised people don't just send you money in general, just for being Spoo, but glad to hear your sell though on B&S is up.

Ah. Ill admit at first, like the first 3 weeks myself - I was not interested in posting much. I stuck pretty much to WAYWRN and a few other familiar threads because I felt lost. A few times I used this analogy, that I felt like a bunch of high school friends made it all to the same college and we were on a strange new campus and nobody knew whose lunch table to sit at. But, after submersing myself in all the ins and outs of the new site, I can say I feel totally at home here on Huddler and I feel like I have not missed a beat. Actually, if we were to go back to vB tomorrow, I would probably be pissed.
As far as sending me money, I happily accept donations and do requests.

Google analytics says that traffic is up 10% in absolute visits, from pre-conversion. Both logged in and logged out users are up about the same amount, with a high of +25%. Of course, google analytics is not completely reliable either, though it is much better than Alexa, which is used only because it's really the only game in town. I say this because google regularly updates their But, let's keep this talk contained to the new platform forum, and to those threads I made, please? I've already spent too much time answering these questions when I should be out there working to make this place better for you guys.

It will be more interesting to know if sales have been up because commercial motivations were behind the new forum not user traffic.

Sigh. No one takes my advice without me locking the thread. There were numerous motivations. The financial viability of the site and the user traffic are directly related.
