I'm Dan, a British archaeologist with a love of tweed to live up to the stereotype. I also have an addiction to ties and cravats. My impecunious profession limits my sartorial ambitions, as does being a heftily built 6'4" with huge feet.

Hi!

I'm Antti, a design professional from Finland.

About 10 years ago, just before handing in my Master's thesis, I made a promise to myself:
If I ever land a proper job, I'll revere it like going to church. Not that I'm a religious person, but you get the point.

I've always been quite a slim build, and learned to do my own alterations. A huge thanks to mom, who was always into textile crafts and gifted me a good sewing machine. Through tailoring, I got into classic menswear. I'm always interested in how our human world, and how the things and products in it are made.

Now being a middle aged family man limits my time for my various other interests, so dressing well has taken over as my main passion and avenue of self expression.

I'm still quite early in my journey, and super interested about tailoring and cloth.
I already have a basic wardrobe of second hand RTW and separates, MTM basics, but see myself transitioining to more suiting in the near future.

Glad to be here! :)

Hi!

Jordan here, not sure what to put here but just started getting more into menswear as someone who has been told many times i have the style of a wet rat (that is to say, none at all, and they are not entirely incorrect)--

This is partially me trying to learn more about male formalwear and all that in preparation for the day in the distant future where I have the funds to theoretically get *any* of the things here, and partially as art research as a (attempting) artist who likes drawing fashion and clothes and would prefer suits i draw in future to, well, not be abominations.

Have lurked for a couple days in preparation to being a member and find so many of the things here interesting so felt I should probably become a member, even if I'm almost certainly not going to speak very much.
