Im from Cape Town South Africa, i'm a student. I recently joined the forum because I have a passion for fashion ( that rhymed right? ), though I cant afford to fully feed my passion as im living a student life, on a budget etc. I still love staying up to date with current trends though i'm more into the classical looks.

On a daily basis i rock simple slim fit jeans paired with a good shirt, skinny tie and some good leather boots, perhaps a vintage knit or jacket depending on weather.

To be honest im here to lurk, perhaps post or reply here and there depending on my mood ;)

Howdy folks, my name is Sam. I lean toward discussions of good alcohol, politics, guitars, music, and pretty much anything hands on. I am a trained gunsmith, law enforcement, wood worker, motorcycle enthusiast, and big time into guitars. I've been playing since I was 10 or 11.

I'm trying to dress up a little more as Im moving into a larger city and have an excuse to dress up more then I do out here in the boonies lol. I like the feel of being in a suit and I'm trying to get more info in what would work best on me. I look forward to reading and learning as much as I can.

I thought I posted on this but perhaps it was on an earlier/older thread...

Anyway Ben here. I've been a member on SF for about 9 years and run eHaberdasher.com. Married 16 years, have 3 great kids, grew up in NJ and also spent 10 years in Boston (college), and recently moved to London.

My first job back in '85 was with a high end men's clothing shop in my hometown of Montclair, NJ where I first caught the clothing bug. At eHaberdasher I don't make a killling, but I love what I do and it provides me the flexibility to spend a lot of time with my family and also travel. I consider myself pretty down to earth - perhaps like many here on the forum I'm not really super fancy but just appreciate and enjoy nice quality clothing but can't afford the full price sticker, so along with carrying lots of the luxury Italian brands at a discount I started my own clothing line about 5 years ago to hopefully meet the needs of guys similar to myself.

The wealth of information on this forum is impressive. Many a times have i gone searching on Google for information only to be brought back here time and time again. Im looking forward to contributing to that wealth in the weeks, months and years to come.

I'm TheNinthWave. I've been reading this forum for quite a while and I really don't know why it took me so long to register but here I am. I'm interested in fashion (duh!), politics and sports. I'm also a major culture junkie so I'm passionate about everything from literature, music and films to art, design, photography, theatre, opera and dance (ballet!)... You name it.

Hello from Idaho! I'm Ken, a regular working stiff in love with American workwear; vintage or vintage inspired. 20's thru the early 60's, those eras where the fellas wore decent hats. Hope to learn and participate!

Long time reader, generally associated the vibe here with a little higher level of intensity and budget than I thought I was at, but then I moved to that level... Mostly for shoes and boots at this point.

I'm an emergency physician in Louisiana.

Hey I'm Briggs, I've been lurking around a little while, but I'm pretty active on the reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice forum.

Decided I should broaden my horizons here. I like denim, leather, workwear, and anything americana/rockabilly/50's right now.
