Hi guys,

My name is Ben, I'm a 26 year old nomad whose taste for fine clothes is currently outstripping his suitcase room. I like to be fashion forward and recently completed my shoe rainbow. I have a particular interest in getting good quality custom things done, especially when it travel some place that it's cheaper. I'm also interested in learning about the technical side of putting together clothes, shoes, ties, etc.

Hey, found the site looking for advice on clothes for tall skinny guys. I'm 6'3" and range from 150-160lbs. Finding clothes that fit my frame is near impossible, especially in the pants and jeans dept.. Getting my clothes altered has been working for shirts, but having pants made can get so expensive. Hope to find more good advice here.

Hiya, I am Clive.

I bought my first pair of Cordovan shoes for Christmas and was looking for some info on the history of the leather and shoe care so here I am.

I am a 50+ Brit that in recent times has gone back to the timeless classical look of which the first thing to do was kick all those trainers into touch.

40 year that's completely lost when it comes to style. I work in a professional environment with a bunch of engineers that could care less about style. So if you dress stylish in this office you get hassled. I've never put much thought into that I wore but now I'm trying. I've recently realized the difference between clothes that "fit" and tailored clothes.....that alone can make a cheap shirt look better. Well I'm here to learn a few things.

Greetings my name is Gregg. I'm 39 and recently (2012) became obsessed with American made clothing and footwear. I own a retail store that allows me to show up dressed however I choose. That freedom has lead me to a fairly steady diet of Engineered Garments and vintage workwear. I'm also a longtime collector of New Balance American made runners. I discovered the site looking for a reputable place to trade and sell Engineered Garments and Vintage Levis. I am looking to expand my knowledge of US made clothing and footwear as well as trade or sell some pieces that I'm not currently wearing.

Hi all,

I'm Dan, and after spending most of my life existing largely in blue jeans and t-shirts, I realized that I very much want to upgrade my look and then some.  So, my first order of business, will be to lose half a super-model (I'm a software engineer... ergo, much of my life is sedentary), so I can actually get clothes that I like, read the forums here, and work on defining a new me.  I have to say, just from the little I've seen, wow, eyes opened and then some!

Hey guys! I'm Arro, and I'm new here!

I don't have a very good reason for joining other than the fact that I've recently gained an interest in fashion and clothes. I'm currently a college student in New York City, though my actual major requires me to travel a bit, so I spent the last year in Paris, and I'll be returning there in September!

I've usually shopped at J. Crew/ Club Monaco/ Uniqlo and the like -- pretty typical for a college student. I'm hoping to expand my wardrobe by slowly replacing elements in my wardrobe with more quality stuff. I'm also trying to get a better understanding of designer and street fashion, and get into that more than I have in the past (I'm usually the preppy sort).

Well, that's all I can think of to say for now, but I hope to get to know more of you guys soon!
