Introduce yourself. - Page 72

Hello everyone,

My name is Yuppie (30) and living in the Netherlands. I was already aware of this forum but today I have decided to create an account.

I like fine clothing and a luxury lifestyle. Regarding my style I can say I like a slim fit. I have a couple of MTM suits / jackets / overcoats with fine fabrics of Dormeuil and Scabal. Most of my shirts are also MTM and a couple are bespoke. I wear casual from Corneliani, Brunello Cucinelli, Loro Piana, PT.

My shoes are from Santoni, Crocket Jones, Tod's. Other brands I like and have are Mont Blanc, Albanu, Rolex, JLC, Persol, Ray Ban, LV.

I hope to learn more about clothing, style and perhaps I will contribute as well. I'm not a native English speaker so please forgive any grammar or typo's. ;)

Hi

I like quality clothing and regularly shop. I stumbled upon this forum looking for reviews of clothes. I want to share reviews of the brands that I am familiar with and hope to discover awesome brands in the process.

Hi, I'm Mark.

I've browsed some threads in the past as a non-member but thought I'd finally join in. I like wearing suits, ties, shirts. I also know I probably could be pulling them off a lot better.

I enjoy whisk(e)y, along with a good pipe. I like watches and I like pens, especially of the fountain variety.

And brown is a preferred colour of mine, but it's not my 'be all end all'.

Hello SF!!

I've been lurking for a few weeks now.  Recently got married, turned 30 and lost about 30 lbs, so I figure it's time to start dressing like an adult.  My wife sure will appreciate it!  Until recently my wardrobe consisted mostly of poor fitting(too big) polo tees and OCBDs, poor fitting khaki shorts & chinos, flip flops, and cheap corrected grain brown and black leather shoes.  Also, going out of the house in workout/outdoor gear way too much.

I have purged pretty much everything but the essentials from my closet. I look forward to building a classic and versatile wardrobe of quality pieces.

Special education teacher and new host of my own luxury travel company...How are you?

Hi, I was advice to introduce myself and that’s cool. I have been a special education teacher for a couple of years now. I am 26 and love to try and be trendy with my outfits yet id prefer most classic pieces that can last if only I could make them last.

I hate going to the dry cleaners and I hate having to wear so many layers! I like to be comfortable and practical with a nice touch that says hey I know what looks good, I make it work and It works for me...I hate to see guys in high end labeled clothing and then look terrible in it. It just says to me "hey I can afford this" but what it really says to me is well never mind.

Either way im stepping out of the world where I typically teach and wear clothes from JC Penny and Sears. I do have a lot of nice things but I work with kids that have a tendency to spill stuff on me and pull on my cloths so why bother at work with expensive stuff.

But now stepping into the luxury travel market I need to wear good stuff and I have no idea what I’m doing. And that’s me.

NYC born and raised.

Hi, I'm Simon Baker, I am a master casemaker. I found a thread talking about Swaine Addeney briefcases, which was fascinating, so have joined, hope to be able to contribute to a greater understanding of leather and case construction. I live and work in the highlands of Scotland, which after 17 years in the west end of London, is a dream. But with the internet, nowhere is remote.

Do you work for yourself, or do you make cases for another company?
