What to wear with short sleeve blue cardigan.

Not vest, cardigan. Doesn't matter how it sounds, it's still men's wear (benetton summer 2011, sadly I have no pictures). It's pretty tight, so if not for the deep V-neck, I would have use it as it is, with nothing else, but I don't think that my hairy chest is appropriate looks in public )

I definitely need to see a pic of this....I can't for the life of me picture what a men's short-sleeve cardigan looks like. And it's so tight you can't fit a shirt underneath it? My instinct is to say return it and never speak of it again.
