Paper, denim, and cloth

Anyone know where to buy PDC in NYC? LA Guy; I know your familiar with the brand, do they make any bootcut styles?

Most of their jeans are bootcut. The LTD model is a full bootcut - more like a stovepipe, and the Tate model is a slimmer bootcut. Both come in a variety of washes. I find the denim used in the summer line to be a little lightweight for my tastes, though. Shouldn't jeans be as hard wearing as you can make them? I'm not sure where you can find them in NY, but since they are a NY company, I assume that they shouldn't be too hard to come by.

Thanks for the info. I found a small store in SoHo that sells them as well as Adriano Goldsmidt jeans; I'm going today. Hopefully i'll find a pair I like, considering I went to Nordstrom yesterday and tried on 5 pairs of jeans and didn't like any of them. 2 diesels, 2 Buffalo, 1 Levi's Red. The buffalo are pretty good jeans for the price, definatly worth checking out. That a bit of a dissapointment that the PDC jeans are lightweight. The best thing I like about my Diesels is the tough construction and weight.

Well, not all Paper Denim jeans are lightweight. They come in a variety of weights. The lightweight jeans say as much on the label (9.5 oz or 10.5 oz). The pair I'm wearing now (Fusion wash/1-year) are 12.5 oz, which is the normal, medium weight denim we are all used to, and they are just about as tough and hard wearing as my Diesels, which is saying quite a bit. I think that the lightweight denims are brought in for summer. You may want to wait until mid July, when many of the stores will be getting in new denim lines like the newly lauched Earl Jean Men and Seven Men as well as new PD&C stuff.
